Hand carved and polished wooden Cuckoo Wall Clock with gold Roman numerals and white clock hands.   A carved bird sits on the top of the cuckoo clock and carved vine leaves and grapes decorate the sides with a squirrel on the bottom right and another bird on the bottom left.  Each hour the doors of the window below the bird at the top open and the cuckoo comes out and sings then counts the hour with a 'cuckoo' and 'echo' whilst opening and closing it's beak and flapping it's wings.

 

A wooden vine leaf pendulum moves with the ticking of the clock and there are two faux pine cone weights to add a final authentic touch to this beautiful clock.

 

This Cuckoo Clock has the added feature of an automatic 'night shut of'.  When the lights are turned off in the room where your Cuckoo Clock is located the clock does not chime the hour until the light is turned on again or daylight prevails. 

 

A volume control is located on the side of the clock to allow you to place the chime volume to 'loud', 'soft' or 'off'.
